We use the term reduced-risk products to refer to products that present, are likely to present, or have the potential to present less risk of harm to smokers who switch to those products versus continued smoking.

Philip Morris International invests heavily in science and innovation, and has a range of RRPs in various stages of development, scientific assessment, and commercialization. Among our RRPs portfolio are heat-not-burn products, that heat but do not burn the tobacco, thereby producing far lower quantities of HPHCs than cigarettes. PMI also sells e-vapor products and oral smokeless products, such as nicotine pouches or snus. All our RRPs represent a much better choice than continuing to smoke cigarettes.

Find out about our smoke-free products portfolio, and learn about how we assess risk reduction compared to continued smoking.
